Hotel Noorjahan Grand Dargah Gate, Sylhet

Overall comfortable stay overnight... There was a wedding function going on adjacent building with live music which couldn't be helped but thankfully party ended at midnight. Ordered room service and all food items were fresh and tasty decent size portions for very reasonable cost. Nice hot shower with fresh towels, even the coffee was decent! Staff were very efficient and really helpful in getting our luggage to rooms... Check in staff were also helpful. Will definitely use this hotel again.

This building amognst other than the hotels stands out, the decor and the rooftop is really nice with a great view of the city.
It's in a good location around 5-10min away from food spots etc. The only issue is the roads are very busy where it is so traffic can be annoying.
It's a great and luxurious place to stay soem of the rooms have better lay outs then others. Some tvs are old while others are smart tvs... Unfortunately I had an old TV so couldn't do much in my room.
I have mixed review of the service, on one hand the cleaning and ironing services provided are very quick and easy and cheap.
On the other I made a room service call for toilet paper and drinks and they didn't turn up until I had to call again 30min later.
The restaurant was a little unorganised. They state open at 12pm but no one was ready till around1240
Overall the stay was a good one I felt comfortable and parts of the hotel are really nice.
Other parts were damaged or outdated or not clean enough so for that reason it cannot be above a 4star..
Breakfast was nice with a lot of variety including curry if you fancy.

The room is medium in size and has a bit of a smell because it has carpet. The service is not good and the breakfast hasn’t many options. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the city. It's famous for local people. The rooftop view is good.

The reception service was the worst. The staff didn’t behave properly and couldn’t even respond well. The receptionist was extremely lazy. After checkout, we left our baggage there, and when we came back to collect it, they took an unnecessarily long time to hand it over.
As for breakfast, it was very limited, with a below-average taste. The food was overly oily and far from satisfying.
Overall, the experience was disappointing. The staff’s behavior and service couldn’t meet even basic expectations. Wouldn’t recommend it.

By far this is one of the most beautiful place from the rooftop is amazing to decoration. The lighting is really good. The food was amazing. The staff was really friendly. You have parking availability and you have also everything else nearby. There’s like a little pool that’s right on top of the roof. You’ve got a DJ. Definitely recommend this place.

I went to the rooftop, really nice views and at night the mood lighting comes on. Nice place to chill, have hot drinks and eat. They have an infinity pool but I didn't see anyone swimming! But a lot of people taking pics.

Enjoyed a wonderful 2-night stay at Hotel Noorjahan Grand! The infinity pool was breathtaking, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Loved the free coffee provided in the room and the modern shower gadgets. Clean rooms, great amenities, and friendly staff made it an excellent experience.

Very poor management, old furnished rooms, buffet breakfast was okay. Asks for payment upfront without you knowing which room you would be staying. Overall it can't be 4 star hotel. They need lots of improvement.

Services deteriorate very badly. Its cant consider as star marked hotel!
No hot water at basin/ordinary tiles in room & toilet/washroom(poor plastic fittings)/poor management!
This is my 2nd visit at Noorjahan. 1st time was far better. Basically they focus on cost cutting without look into quality. Even there buffet breakfast was compromised. Items reduced.
At all- Better to not to stay if you required fancy with quality service in Compittetive price.

I recently stayed in Room 603 and, unfortunately, my experience was less than ideal. The room faces a busy highway, which made it quite noisy throughout the night. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functioning, and the small fridge in the room was quite loud. Although I unplugged the fridge to reduce the noise, the combination of the warm temperature and external noise made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. I hope the management can address these issues for future guests, as the property has great potential with a few improvements.
