Grand Palace Hotel & Resorts Zinda bazar, Sylhet

My second time staying at Grand Palace Hotel, I must say it is the best hotel in Sylhet by far!! The hotel is exceptionally clean modern ad the service is brilliant 2nd to none!! Grand palace set the bar for the rest of the hotels around. The staff the food the service was exceptional!!! To the management of Grand Palace you are doing a fantastic job i will always come stay whenever im in Bangladesh and will recommend to everyone. Your staff are doing a fabulous job looking after your customers. Thank you. 🙏 Especially VHULONG that guy is star goes out of his way for your customers. Keep him at any cost!!! The Hotel should be rated 5star if i must say!!!! Rooms: Room were very clean tidy and big, the beds r really comfortable bathroom nice and clean. Room service people very helpful and friendly. Nearby activities: Being in town centre everything isa short ride away. Safety: Very secure, nothing to worry about they look after u like their own. Walkability: Right in the centre of Sylhet walking distance to everywhere really ideal place for shopping site seeing. Food & drinks: Again the hotel food is really nice but you have restaurants just down the road couple of minutes walk. Noteworthy details: Exceptional hotel, kind caring staff, secure hotel. Food is really good.

Very nice hotel and the staff were very attentive and helpful. This was similar to a Western hotel. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, and the bathroom was nice with hot water and good pressure. I was most impressed with the included breakfast buffet. There is a large selection of food with both Bengali and some Western cuisine. There are omelets made to order. There is a nice rooftop pool, however it is not heated so is very cold during the winter months.

Beautiful new hotel. Immaculate. Beds very comfortable. Rooms cleaned daily. Nice strong hot showers. The inclusive breakfast bar was amazing. Very large selection of many types of food. Most food is Bengali but a few other foods as well. Fruit and cereals offered also. If marsala chai is not on buffet table- ask as they will kindly make a pot of it . Up stairs is a very nice small gym and also a beautiful pool. In January the pool was too cold for myself to swim, but in summer it would be nice. Hotel is located right down in shopping district. Very easy to walk out front door and shopping at your display. Bargaining accepted but not in sari stores. This hotel is cheaper then another 'palace' hotel near by and is very luxurious. Most of the staff speaks English if you need English.Would recommend.

Pros: My stay could be compared to any Westin/Hyatt in USA. The guest service desk, room service were all top notch. I would keep coming back for the amazing guest service and breakfast buffet. Cons: room was a bit tight in space . But standard still.

Due to slow business, services have taken a toll. Breakfast hot food buffet was not available. Had to order it. Selection limited with no menu. Coffee took so long, I left. Otherwise nice hotel. Previously stayed and good experience. Very good rooftop swimming pool. If you book honeymoon suite, ensure you request the extra trimmings as they are not given as standard.

One of the best hotels in Sylhet now. Room are well decorated. Have all modern facilities in the hotel like gym, swimming etc. super fast wifi.

The location is very good not only for tourists but also for local people.It is in the center of the Sylhet city. I suggest they should continue a regular dinner buffet. Also I would like to enjoy a special kabab based menu.
