Long story short a best one for room and food. Went to there many times. They're offering the best deal in town for Buffet. Probably the oldest hotel in sylhet serving with pride.

Rose View Hotel is a traditional hotel of our Sylhet. It looks beautiful as well as its environment is very charming. It is located on the northern side of Point, a suburb of Sylhet city. Very good quality rooms are available here as well as good quality food of the country. The behavior of the staff here is very good. The food quality is excellent, I think it's good for a buffet, which has 70+ items. Normally dignitaries of the country stay here. Players and MP ministers of different countries stay here.Also there is swimming pool facility. I really like it.

Food was really bad, Soup was extremely (chilli) hot. Thai style fried chicken was under cook. Chef has definitely changed and the quality of food is not The Rose View standard.
Although the waiters service was excellent (Ripon Ahmed).
As for food, I would not recommend it (it's a NO GO ZONE).
I think if the owner wants to keep some loyal customers they definitely need to up their game and get proper 5 🌟 CHEF.!!
